Today is payday, so I decided to treat myself. Rather than the usual trip to Sushiya followed by a whisky overdose in the 'Blazer, I thought I might try something different.
I can't cook, but I like to pretend that I can.

Prawn marie rose, sadly bought ready made, on a bed of "bistro salad" with oatcakes and Ho-Il's special Korean chili powder. Accompanied by a dram of Whisky Society cask 91.18.

Rare Aberdeen Angus fillet steak with asparagus spears and oven roasted sweet potato chips. Accompanied by Braughton Ales' Old Jock.

Mmmm...
