Stupid Parcel Courriers
Sep. 22nd, 2008 07:47 pmFor some reason, the depot is out in Broxburn, and they close at 6pm. How these people stay in business is anyone's guess. They also won't let me collect on Saturday.
If a friend or acquaintance goes to the effort of organizing an event and sending you a personal invitation, it is polite to reply. If you can't make it, all you need to do is say so. Ignoring someone in this way is not only bad manners, it is hurtful. This has happened to friends of mine far too often, and I am getting sick of it.
Next time someone extends you an invitation, do them the courtesy of replying.
